Meeting Room/Annex Policy
These facilities are provided free of charge as a community service to our patrons with the exceptions as stated in this policy.
Please take the time to read over this policy/information sheet before completing the meeting room application.
The meeting room has a capacity of twenty-five (25) people.
The meeting rooms are to be used strictly by not-for-profit groups.
Rooms are available during library hours.
Winter Hours – Labor Day through Memorial Day: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday – Friday
Summer Hours – Memorial Day through Labor Day: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday – Friday
Meeting rooms are not available on Sundays or regular holidays.
Reservations must be made by an adult who represents the organization reserving the room. To insure availability, the room should be booked two (2) weeks in advance.
In addition to handling room reservations, the contact person is responsible for reporting attendance and maintaining an open line of communication between the library and the organization.
If the kitchen is to be used, all food should be prepared offsite. A stove, microwave, and refrigerator, along with coffee makers, table service, and desert trays with cups, are available.
A screen, projector, laptop, and Internet connection are available to use onsite.
Insofar as possible, library staff will arrange the room according to the needs of the group. Users are responsible for leaving rooms and the kitchen in a neat and orderly condition.
Cancellation of the meeting reservation is requested twenty-four (24) hours in advance.
